What the new Ollama result actually proves
Current search results now show a public Ollama page named
timheinrich2011/verity-3b. The page says the model is based on
qwen2.5:3b and is made to comply with the prompt of the official Minecraft
Verity Mod. That is useful for a player testing the local Ollama route, but it is not the
same thing as an official Verity JE release note saying "this is the best AI model for
Verity Mod." Treat it as a model candidate, not a download-source or maintainer guarantee.
The practical test is simple: confirm Verity JE loads first, start Ollama locally, run one
short prompt against the model outside Minecraft, then test the same prompt inside the game.
If the model answers but breaks character, roleplays awkwardly through TTS, or takes too long
during play, switch models before changing the Java file. If Ollama itself cannot answer on
localhost:11434, the Verity Mod install is not the first layer to debug.
