CurseForge Verity Mod Download Routes

A CurseForge search for Verity Mod can show Java mods, Bedrock add-ons, Pocket Edition add-ons, old file records, VERITY.exe, Verity Pack, and separate modpack pages. The useful question is not only where the download button is. The useful question is whether the page matches your Minecraft edition, the project owner, the Project ID, the file type, and the record number named by the guide you followed.

What a CurseForge Verity Mod result can mean

Search result wording Likely CurseForge category Use this route when Risk if you pick wrong
Verity JE, Verity Mod Java, or Minecraft Mods Minecraft Mods You run Java Edition with Forge or the listed NeoForge branch. A Bedrock or MCPE player will not be able to import the JAR.
Verity BE, Verity Bedrock, or Bedrock Addons Minecraft Bedrock Addons You need a Bedrock world add-on and project 1574632 is the route named by your guide. Java setup advice about mods folders, loaders, Groq, or Ollama will not apply.
Verity - Bedrock Edition or PnTMC Minecraft Bedrock Addons You followed a PnTMC or ThatMob's Verity Bedrock tutorial and need 3.2.0 rows. Verity BE commands, wake phrases, and file records can differ from this route.
Verity Pocket Edition or MCPE Minecraft Bedrock Addons You are on mobile or Pocket Edition and need an add-on import path. A CurseForge Java modpack or JAR can waste the install session.
VERITY.exe Minecraft Modpacks You intentionally want SkyeTheFox's modpack route, Project ID 1585389. It is not the standalone Verity JE JAR and not a Bedrock MCADDON.
Verity Pack, VerityPack, or VerityPack Realistic Minecraft Modpacks You intentionally want a CurseForge profile, not a single mod file. One Verity Pack result says the pack does not contain the Verity mod and needs it added separately.

VERITY.exe and Verity Pack results

CurseForge Modpacks results can be valid project pages, but they are not the same answer as a standalone Verity Mod Java JAR or Bedrock MCADDON. The July 30 23:25 official check showed VERITY.exe as SkyeTheFox's modpack route with Project ID 1585389 and main file record 8539885. The Verity Pack family is also a modpack/profile route, and one public Verity Pack result says it does not contain the Verity mod file itself.

FALSITY [SMILEY] is a separate CurseForge Minecraft Mods project by PKFL, not the Verity JE file and not the separate Bedrock remake. The July 29 check showed Java Project ID 1575216, current file FALSITY-SMILEYARCHIVE-9.0.jar, file record 8528006, Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge, Client and Server support, Modrinth project r8Qz0Ic2, Modrinth version tNOLeN6v, and a separate MCMOBZ Bedrock Addons result with Project ID 1594973 and file 8449365.

Why results conflict

CurseForge can be the right source and still be the wrong page

Category mismatch is the main failure

CurseForge hosts many Minecraft project types. A Java mod page, a Bedrock add-on page, and a modpack page can all be legitimate platform pages, but they do not answer the same player problem. If you use Java Edition, the file must match your loader and go into a Java profile. If you use Bedrock or MCPE, the package imports into Minecraft as an add-on and then needs behavior and resource packs activated in world settings. Those steps are not interchangeable.

This matters because trending video titles and short social posts often compress every route into one name. A player may search for Verity Mod, click the first familiar page, and download a file that belongs to a different edition. Another player may search for a CurseForge result after seeing a Bedrock tutorial and accidentally land on Verity JE. Both users are using a known host, but the host alone does not tell them which project they selected.

What to verify on the page

  • Project ID: it survives title changes better than a thumbnail or short slug.
  • Category: Minecraft Mods means Java; Minecraft Bedrock Addons means Bedrock or MCPE.
  • Owner: compare the uploader named by the tutorial with the page owner.
  • File record: a record page is clearer than a generic latest-file button.
  • Package type: a JAR, MCADDON, ZIP profile, EXE, and source archive are different routes.
  • Version: match both Minecraft version and loader or Bedrock build.

Search workflow

How to use CurseForge search without choosing the wrong Verity result

Search by project name, then verify by category

If you search CurseForge for CurseForge Verity Mod, do not stop at the first thumbnail. Open the result, then immediately check the breadcrumb or category. The Verity JE route is under Minecraft Mods. Verity BE, Verity - Bedrock Edition, and Verity Pocket Edition are under Minecraft Bedrock Addons. VERITY.exe, Verity Pack, VerityPack, and VerityPack Realistic are under Minecraft Modpacks. Those categories decide how the file installs and what troubleshooting page is relevant.

After the category matches, check Project ID and record ID. The Project ID protects you from similar titles, renamed thumbnails, and reposted wording. The record ID protects you from a generic "latest" button that may change after a video or comment was published. For high-volume Verity Mod download searches, this is the difference between a clean install and a confusing loop where the file is from CurseForge but still belongs to the wrong route.

The same advice applies when the query is written in reverse as Verity Mod CurseForge. That wording usually means the player trusts the host but has not chosen Java, Bedrock, Pocket Edition, or modpack yet.

Use the right next page after the CurseForge click

  • Java JAR: continue to the Verity JE or Java route and check Forge, dependencies, and AI provider setup.
  • Bedrock MCADDON: continue to the Bedrock, MCPE, or PnTMC route and check behavior packs, resource packs, Beta APIs, and world settings.
  • Modpack ZIP: continue to the VERITY.exe or Verity Pack page and decide whether you want a whole profile.
  • Old record: continue to the taken-down or stale-file route before trusting a link from an old tutorial.
  • API error after Java loads: continue to the Groq API key or API connection page instead of changing CurseForge files.

Route Checked public record Use it when
Verity JE file record Project ID 1591438, record 8461257, verity-5.7.3.jar, Forge 1.20.1 You are installing a Java mod and can match Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1.
Verity JE Modrinth mirror check Project on1Y0osD, version yAt0wv1Z, same Java filename and publisher checksums You want an independent platform record and checksum for the current Java file.
Verity BE file record Project ID 1574632, record 8583159, Bedrock 26.30 MCADDON You are installing Undertaletalelover's Bedrock route.
PnTMC Bedrock file record Project ID 1575941, record 8517480, ThatMob's Verity 3.2.0 V26.30 You followed a PnTMC or ThatMob Bedrock tutorial and need that exact branch.
Verity Pocket Edition file record Project ID 1596246, record 8406293, Verity (1.0.2) for Pocket Edition-style Bedrock import You searched from MCPE or mobile and need a Pocket Edition add-on route.
MCPEDL route check MCPEDL listing for the PnTMC Bedrock route You arrived from Minecraft PE or MCPE search and need to compare source pages.
VERITY.exe modpack record Project ID 1585389, record 8539885, Forge Port 2.1.3, Modpacks category You searched for the VERITY.exe pack intentionally and understand it is not the standalone Java JAR.
Verity Pack and VerityPack checks Separate CurseForge modpack/profile routes, including projects 1583377, 1587394, and 1596649 You searched for a pack or profile rather than the standalone Verity Mod file.

Practical install choice

CurseForge app, browser download, or no download?

When the CurseForge app is useful

The app is useful when you intentionally want a managed profile, dependency handling, or a modpack flow. It can reduce mistakes for players who already use CurseForge profiles. It does not remove the need to choose the right project. A Java profile still needs the matching loader, and a Bedrock add-on still needs a Bedrock-compatible import path.

If your goal is only to verify a file mentioned in a video, open the exact record page in the browser first. Read the owner, record number, game version, and file type before installing. Then use the app or browser route that makes sense for your edition.

When not to continue

Stop when the final page changes from CurseForge to a short-link chain, asks for a password archive, offers an EXE for a normal JAR or MCADDON install, or hides the owner and version history. A repost can copy a popular name while losing the project evidence that matters.

If the file already exists on your computer, use the local checker to inspect extension, filename, source text, and SHA-256 without uploading the file. That check cannot prove safety, but it can catch obvious route mismatches before you put the package into a Minecraft profile or a Bedrock world.

FAQ

CurseForge Verity questions

Why does CurseForge show more than one Verity result?

Because Verity-related searches include a character, a Java project, two common Bedrock add-on routes, modpack searches, old slugs, and mirrors. The name alone is not enough. Use the category, Project ID, owner, file type, and record number to decide.

Can I use the Java CurseForge file on Bedrock or MCPE?

No. The Java route is a JAR for a Java launcher profile. Bedrock and MCPE need an MCADDON or MCPACK-style route, then world-level pack activation. Use the Bedrock guide if you are not running Java Edition.

Is VERITY.exe a CurseForge Verity Mod download?

It is a CurseForge result, but it is a modpack route, not the standalone Verity JE Java file and not a Bedrock add-on. Use it only when you intentionally want SkyeTheFox's VERITY.exe profile. If you only need the core Java file, compare the Verity JE Project ID 1591438 and file record 8461257 instead.

Why does one CurseForge Verity Pack say it does not contain the Verity mod?

A modpack can be a profile shell, dependency bundle, or themed setup rather than the standalone mod itself. That is why Verity Pack and VerityPack searches are separated from the Java JAR, Bedrock MCADDON, and Pocket Edition routes. Read the pack description before assuming the Verity Mod file is already included.

Is the newest-looking file always the best choice?

No. A higher Minecraft version or newer-looking branch can still be a legacy, test, or deprecated route. For Java, the older NeoForge 1.21.1 branch remains separate from the current Forge 1.20.1 file. Match the route named by your setup, not only the largest version number.

Does this page host any CurseForge files?

No. This page routes players to public project records and keeps a machine-readable release snapshot at verity-releases.json. It does not mirror CurseForge or Modrinth downloads, and it does not ask for API keys.
